Angus McEwan

I am currently the President of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolours (RSW). I taught in the further education sector for 24 years in Scotland, I exhibit Internationally and have won many awards over the years. I went to Art school at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (Dundee, Scotland) receiving a Degree and Post Graduate Degree in Fine Art. I also have a post graduate certificate in Secondary Education -PGCSE with merit. Over the past number of years I have also been teaching Watercolour Internationally; including, Russia, China, France, Portugal, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany and the United States. I taught a wide range of subjects in College using a multitude of materials and taught absolute beginners to degree level students, but my real passion is watercolour. I teach in-person workshops as well as online classes.

Your online course “Mastering Textures in Watercolor” was excellent. You taught techniques that I had not seen before and used materials that I had never used. Your critiques of each person’s work was very helpful and I was very happy with my finished projects. Thank you!
